Break the Loop

AN online leadership lab for senior leaders, HR, and changemakers who want to get things moving where change keeps stalling

Why does change stall — and the same problems return?

You're not imagining it.

You’ve already put serious leadership effort into making change happen. Into getting things right...

You've communicated the vision. Expressed appreciation and trust to your managers. Coached your team members. Clarified mandates. Addressed questions. Organized trainings. Changed the structure. Reviewed policies. Improved processes.

And yet…

Decisions never fully land.
A topic seems closed, until somebody reopens the same debate a week later.

Ownership feels like a hot potato.
Issues are discussed again and again, but responsibility keeps moving from one person or team to another.

Roles become revolving doors.
You finally fill a critical position, only to watch the next person walk out.

Certain teams stay permanently exhausted.
No matter who joins, the same pressure keeps landing in the same place.

Raises and extra bonuses create relief… for a while.
Then the same tension returns and the conversation about money starts again.

The new direction sounds clear…
yet people keep interpreting it through their old assumptions and old habits.

The elephant in the room never quite leaves.
The real issue stays unspoken, and the same tension keeps resurfacing somewhere else.

The same issues come back.

The same resistance returns.

The same conflicts repeat.

All in all, you're busy. And often... frustrated.

From the outside, it might look like progress. But structurally — nothing really shifts. So you start wondering... Why does every solution create a new version of the same problem?

Is it me? Or is it them?

Or... is something else recreating the same outcome?

Does this sound familiar?

Well...

You're not alone. And you're not failing.

For years, I was in your shoes. I tried to improve myself and others. More tools. More skills development. More effort.

It helped — but only temporarily.

What I hadn’t yet learned to see were the invisible structures quietly recreating the same outcomes.

Once I understood how systems actually stabilize themselves, my interventions changed. And so did the results.

I wish someone had shown me earlier that most change efforts stall not because leaders lack competence,
but because the real drivers of the problem remain untouched.

That's why Break the Loop isn't about "fixing" leaders or adding more skills.

It’s about seeing the patterns shaping the situation — and shifting how you move inside them.

You develop three capacities modern leadership often misses:

Seeing clearly: Recognizing the system behind the situation.
Standing in the right place: Returning responsibility to where it belongs.
Speaking honestly: Naming what the system quietly avoids without turning it into blame.

This is what begins to unlock when you join Break the Loop:

  • See what’s really going on instead of guessing where the resistance sits
  • Recognize patterns before they escalate
  • Stop compensating for misplaced responsibility
  • Hold tension creatively without swinging to extremes
  • Interrupt autopilot reactions that keep problems repeating
  • Address invisible resistance without pushing harder
  • Work with history and legacy instead of fighting it
  • Replace blame with structural clarity and shared ownership
  • Create movement by repositioning yourself (or your team) in the system
  • Act with clarity and impact even when the situation is complex
  • Reduce the hidden friction that keeps draining your energy

This is your time to break the cycle so things can start moving where change keeps stalling.

How the labs work:

Break the Loop is an online leadership lab for a small cohort of up to 12 leaders and changemakers. This size is a deliberate choice to create a safe, open, and interactive environment that enables real shifts to happen. The lab is facilitated by Dagmar Suissa.

We meet at Zoom for six sessions of three hours each, spaced two weeks apart. The final session takes place at the end of the summer to allow time for real-life integration. This rhythm allows you to bring real work challenges, test different moves in practice, and return with new observations. Each session blends short conceptual inputs, structured reflection, experiential exercises, and real-case exploration, with occasional opportunities for hot-seat coaching.

On the alternating weeks, you’ll meet in peer conversations (60–90 minutes, self-organized) to deepen reflection and translate insights into practice. This rhythm — group calls followed by peer conversations — creates both spaciousness and momentum, allowing insights to integrate at a pace you can absorb.

The cohort also shares a private Sutra space for ongoing reflection, peer exchange, and access to additional resources that support the work between sessions.

Break the Loop works as a live learning lab where much of the insight emerges through real-time interaction within the group. To support that experience, we ask participants to commit to attending the sessions and engaging in the shared exploration. If you need to miss a session, recordings will be available and the Sutra space allows you to reconnect with the group and the material. These are intended as support if life intervenes, rather than the primary way of participating.

You’re invited to bring the real situations you’re currently navigating:

The “loops” you're epxeriencing become the working material for the lab. The point isn’t theory that might be useful one day, but insight that connects directly to your everyday leadership reality.

You might come with one core challenge. Or several smaller situations that keep repeating.

Between sessions, you’ll receive small nudges to experiment with how you show up or intervene differently in those situations.

This isn’t about adding more tasks to your already full plate. The experiments are meant to shift the quality of what you do, not the quantity.

In most weeks, the total time commitment stays within about three hours — including the lab itself and peer work.

The idea is to blend the work with situations that are already part of your life and leadership, not to fight against it.

Each lab dismantles one recurring leadership loop:

Each lab explores one common loop many leaders run into.
The concrete situations you bring become the real material where that loop becomes visible. We look at how the pattern works, what keeps it in place, and how to begin shifting it in your real situations.

Lab 1: From Firefighting to Breaking the Repeat

Date: April 29, 2026 (9 a.m. - 12 p.m. CEST)
Available as a standalone workshop, too.

You’ll identify a recurring issue in your system and map the structure beneath it. You'll understand why your previous solutions didn’t hold, why intelligent effort often stabilizes the problem, and what it takes to interrupt the loop.

This lab alone often shifts perspective dramatically and you walk away with one experiment to interrupt the loop. You can attend the first lab independently — or continue into the full journey.

Lab 2: From Either–Or Solutions to Creative Tension

Date: May 13, 2026 (9 a.m. - 12 p.m. CEST)

You’ll discover why many leadership efforts get stuck in pendulum swings between extremes —
and how to distinguish between problems that need solving
and tensions that need managing.

Lab 3: From Autopilot to Intentional Response

Date: May 27, 2026 (9 a.m. - 12 p.m. CEST)

Every system interacts with our responses. You’ll explore how automatic reactions under pressure can unintentionally reinforce unhelpful system patterns and stuckness. You’ll practice small shifts that increase clarity and choice in high-stakes moments.

Lab 4:  From Pushing Forward to Clearing What’s Unfinished

Date: June 10, 2026 (9 a.m. - 12 p.m. CEST)

Sometimes what looks like resistance is the system protecting something important. You’ll learn how to work with that dynamic — instead of escalating against it.

Lab 5:  From Carrying What Isn’t Yours to Standing in the Right Role

Date: June 24, 2026 (9 a.m. - 12 p.m. CEST)

Why do capable leaders end up carrying more than they should? In this lab, you’ll uncover where you or your team are absorbing structural gaps — and how to restore clear ownership so the system matures instead of depending on you.

Lab 6: From Blame to Shared Ownership

Date: August 27, 2026 (9 a.m. - 12 p.m. CEST)

If the same conflicts keep resurfacing, something in the system isn’t being acknowledged. In this lab, you’ll learn how to surface what’s influencing the room and shift onwership — without escalating tension or personalizing the issue.

The final session will take place in late August to allow time for real-life experimentation and integration over the summer.

Robin Barker, CEO & Founder, We Can Talk

“My confidence grew significantly”

I reached out during a period of significant change and scale in my business. Holding multiple positions during this transition was incredibly challenging, and I needed support navigating that complexity. What stood out about Dagmar is that she is a thoughtful ally, her values clearly aligned with mine and she's also not afraid to challenge. My confidence in addressing challenges grew significantly, but also my understanding and perspective of the journey I'm on. We've been able to identify real opportunities while closing down others that felt driven by vanity rather than impact. If you're trying to create impact in the world without having a detrimental impact on yourself or your teams, it's really worth working with her—particularly if you're at a high-growth or pivotal stage of your business development.

Robin Barker, CEO & Founder, We Can Talk

“New opportunities opened up after one breakthrough session ”

In one breakthrough session, I was able to realize more than I could admit to myself on my own. Dagmar helped me understand the patterns that held me back which helped me to open myself up to new opportunities. She also helped me work through my fears in various situations. The session was both challenging and fun but most importantly...it worked which I'm very grateful for.

Fiona D., Senior Marketing Manager, FMCG industry

“A breakthrough at every session”

I´ve been working with Dagmar around several topics from my work and life. She always helped me find the key parts driving my story which we then worked on. Dagmar is an incredibly gifted listener who connects the various parts of your life story in an unexpected way. There is breakthrough at every session with her and I truly feel it has helped me progress in the right way on my journey.

Ilona Safarova, Senior Manager NKT

“A safe space that helped me step into leadership with confidence and clarity”

I met Dagmar at the perfect moment — right after my promotion to senior manager. The coaching journey with her was truly transformative. She gave me the tools, insights, and confidence to step into my new role with clarity and purpose. Most of all, she created a safe, inspiring space where I could reflect, grow, challenge myself — and even talk openly about things that once seemed taboo.

“Culture Detox Has Been a Turning Point”

This book has been a turning point and a reminder that I have a choice. I was feeling hopeless — trapped in a system I thought I couldn't change — until I started reading. Within just a day, I felt empowered to act. It created a real ripple effect, shifting perspectives in my workplace. This book doesn't just inspire change — it transforms.

Jaana Kortelainen, Senior HR Leader
Lenka Corlannova, Business Intelligence Consultant

“I stopped believing I wasn’t important — and started showing up as I am.”

Dagmar opened my eyes to the different roles I play in various systems. For example, I had long believed I wasn’t important at work and shouldn’t bother anyone. For as long as I can remember, I was afraid to express my needs... I’ve now started speaking up more and asking questions I used to consider "stupid."

Lenka Corlannova, Business Intelligence Consultant

“I found a way out of a crisis”

I have found a way out of a personal crisis thanks to Dagmar. Yes, it took about a year of working with her. But I've discovered a new purpose in life and can finally start to breathe and enjoy my work again...

Paul J., Chief Technology Officer, Software Development Industry

Hello there!

I'm Dagmar

Founder of Bee Balanced and author of Culture Detox. I work with senior leaders at critical moments — when things feel stuck, and when they’re stepping into new phases and want to get the foundations right.

For more than 20 years, I’ve sat at the leadership table — including as Chief People Officer and board member. I’ve been part of executive teams during rapid growth, cultural friction, post-merger integration, and transformation. I’ve seen what happens when the strategy is sound, the people are capable, and yet things don’t always move as expected.

Because what’s visible is only part of the story.

In every organization, there are forces at play that don’t show up on org charts — unspoken expectations, inherited patterns, power imbalances, and relational tensions that quietly shape decisions and outcomes. When these dynamics are unseen, leaders tend to push harder and often achieve the opposite of what they intend. When the hidden dynamics are understood, a different kind of movement becomes possible.

I work at the intersection of leadership and culture, helping teams both untangle recurring tensions and build new chapters on solid ground. By bringing unseen patterns into view, we create the conditions for change that truly holds.

This work isn’t about fixing individuals — it’s about understanding and shaping the system around them, whether to resolve existing tensions or to build strong foundations from the start.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much time will I need to invest in Break the Loop?

The series is designed to integrate with your life and work, not compete with it. You’ll join six live 3-hour sessions, each held every other week.

On the alternating weeks, you’ll meet in peer conversations (60–90 minutes) to deepen reflection and translate insights into practice. This rhythm — group calls, then peer calls — creates both spaciousness and momentum, allowing the work to land at a pace you can absorb.

You’ll also be invited into small experiments that help you apply what we explore in real time. That said, these experiments are more about shifting the quality of how you show up than about adding more to your to-do list.

How will the labs be delivered?

Break the Loop is a fully online experience delivered through Zoom, designed so you can join from anywhere in the world. Live sessions take place in a virtual group space, and our private learning Sutra environment hosts your reflections, peer conversations, and integration practices between calls.

What if I cannot attend one of the sessions?

Break the Loop is designed as a live learning lab. The lab works best when participants can be present and engaged. We ask participants to commit to attending the sessions and contributing to the shared exploration.

At the same time, leadership life is rarely predictable. If you need to miss a session, recordings will be available and the Sutra space allows you to reconnect with the group and the material. These are meant as support if life intervenes, rather than the primary way of participating.

How is Break the Loop different from other leadership programs?

Most leadership programs focus on improving skills. Break the Loop focuses on the patterns and structures that keep recreating the same problems — even when you’re capable and well-trained. Instead of adding more skills, we work at the level where loops are generated: how responsibility, authority, identity, and reward systems interact. When you see and reposition yourself within the system, change stops collapsing back into old dynamics.

Do I need to bring a specific case or challenge?

Most participants join Break the Loop because they are navigating a complex situation in their leadership context and want to understand what keeps it stuck.

At the same time, you don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined case. Many insights emerge as participants recognize familiar patterns in others’ situations and reflect on how those dynamics show up in their own work.

I already use AI as a teacher, coach, or mentor. How can Break the Loop add value?

I love learning with AI — and I use it often. It’s an incredible tool for thinking, reflecting, and seeing patterns from new angles. But I’ve also experienced its limits. AI mirrors the questions we ask — usually on the same level of awareness they were formed. So unless we know how to stretch those questions, we mostly stay within what we already know.

Moreover, Break the Loop adds something different: live systemic interaction. Patterns don’t only exist in your thinking — they emerge in relationships, power dynamics, and real-time exchanges.

In this lab, you work with actual dynamics in the room, test interventions, and experience how shifts affect the wider system. It’s the difference between understanding a pattern intellectually and learning how to interrupt it in practice.

I’m not sure I’m ready. How do I know I am?

You’re likely ready if you’ve already tried improving skills, tools, or communication — and still notice change stalling or the same patterns resurfacing. Break the Loop isn’t for leaders looking for quick fixes. It’s for those willing to examine how they themselves may be participating in the dynamics they want to change. You don’t need certainty. But you do need curiosity, ownership, and the willingness to see beyond the surface.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Payment plans are available. Reach out in case you need a customized payment plan.
